BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Macy’s announced Tuesday that it will be closing all stores, including the Bridgewater Commons location, until March 31 in a response to the growing new coronavirus crisis.
The closures will go into effect at the end of business Tuesday.
“The health and safety of our customers, colleagues and communities is our utmost priority. As a result of the recent COVID-19 developments, we have decided to temporarily close our stores,” said Jeff Gennette, the chairman and chief executive officer of Macy’s, Inc., in a statement released Tuesday. “We will work with government and health officials to assess when we will reopen our stores….
