Bridgewater Township Halloween Festival Set for October 30th at Bridgewater Commons

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. (OCTOBER 13, 2020) — Get those costumes ready! That’s because the Township of Bridgewater and Bridgewater Commons invite ghouls, ghosts and goblins to register online to attend an eerie evening filled with safe, family-friendly fun as they present the Bridgewater Township Halloween Festival.

The event will be hosted at Bridgewater Commons in Parking Lot 7 near Macy’s on Friday, Oct. 30 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, rain or shine. It will feature music, prize giveaways and more socially- distanced, outdoor fun. While there is no charge to attend the festival, to keep this year’s October celebration safe and spaced appropriately, space will be limited and advance registration is required. Attendees must wear face coverings — beyond those that might be a part of a Halloween costume.

A registration link on the Township website will be available to sign up beginning Thursday, October 15th.

“Celebrating Halloween is an annual tradition long enjoyed by our township’s residents and friends,” said Bridgewater Mayor Matthew Moench. “Like most events in our lives this year, Halloween will be different than in years past but we want to do our best to try to bring some joy to the community in a safe and responsible way. We not only thank Bridgewater Commons for hosting this year’s outdoor festival in the mall’s parking lot, but for their enthusiasm and participation in helping us to create a safe and memorable experience.”

“Halloween is certainly different this year and we are delighted to partner with The Township of Bridgewater for our community’s annual event,” remarked Bridgewater Commons Senior General Manager Troy Fischer. “We look forward to welcoming all for what promises to be an enjoyable family event and offer our thanks to Bridgewater Commons’ shops and restaurants who are generously participating with giveaways, prize donations and more.”
