Community Hub: Museum of Imagination and Innovation presents Unboxed: Adventures in Cardboard

Sat, Sep 25, 12pm to 5pm

Inspired by adventure playgrounds, Unboxed : Adventures in Cardboard invites children and their families to test their imaginations as they build, construct, and invent forts using everyday materials such as cardboard, tape, fabric, string, and other recyclables.

Fort-building ignites imaginative play and is one of the most beneficial learning tools for any child, leading to a lifetime of innovation and creativity. Children create narratives as they play, keeping them engaged longer and helping them retain information. This wonderful workshop invites children and their parents or caregivers to work collaboratively to create together.

MOMI is a nonprofit organization with a mission to build more playful communities and a world-class hands-on museum for NJ families. It is the only museum in Central and Northern New Jersey that is a member of the Association of Children’s Museums, an international nonprofit professional service organization representing and advocating for the children’s museum field.

Location: Community HUB at Bridgewater Commons, Main Level next to Verizon Wireless
