Event Date(s): September 30 – October 31, Media remarks September 30, 2pm
Location: Bridgewater Commons, Lower Level across from Build-A-Bear Workshop
Description: During October, Bridgewater Commons proudly supports Breast Cancer Awareness. In partnership with the Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation, a photographic mural will be on display featuring six specialists in the striking photos captured by NJ photographer Joy Glenn with personal messages of hope in the fight against cancer. Visitors can donate money via a QR code to help the Foundation fund critical resources in their fight to save lives. In addition, a 15-foot-wide symbol for breast cancer awareness pink ribbon ties the mural together.
Through their sponsored facilities, the Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation serves underprivileged and vulnerable women by ensuring the availability of top-quality breast-health services that include screening, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care. The Foundation provides financial assistance to programs and needs deemed most crucial to the health and wellbeing of patients and offers collaborative support to provide resources, education, advocacy and empowerment to the women we serve.
